As a learner driver or a newly qualified driver (which lasts for two years from the date you pass your driving test) if you accumulate 6 or more penalty points, the DVLA will automatically revoke your driving licence. You will then need to start from the beginning, apply for a new provisional licence and retake and pass both the theory and practical driving tests.
For advice on learner driver entitlements, penalty points and all types of road traffic offences, for a free consultation please contact David Williams at Jordan Williams Law on 01202 805211, 07793 055104 or david@jwlaw.co.uk
